You’re Not Too Late. You’re Just Done Pretending.

There are women waking up at 50, 58, 62 — and realizing:
“This is not the life I want anymore.”

And here’s the part nobody talks about:

They’re not broken.
They’re not behind.
They’re just done pretending.

Done pretending they’re fulfilled in a life that quietly drains them.
Done pretending the marriage is fine.
Done pretending the numbness is normal.
Done pretending they don’t have needs.

Because let’s be real — some of us weren’t allowed to have needs.
We were raised to perform. To please. To smile politely through the ache.

We were taught to be grateful for breadcrumbs. To silence our fire.
To shrink so someone else could stay comfortable.

But here’s the tea:

There’s no expiration date on coming home to yourself.

You don’t age out of alignment. You don’t get too old to set boundaries. And you sure as hell don’t need permission to change your mind about your life.

You are allowed to:
    •    Leave the relationship that no longer sees you
    •    Say no after decades of saying yes
    •    Rebuild your entire identity without apology
    •    Walk away from people who only love the watered-down version of you

This isn’t a breakdown.
It’s a breakthrough.

You don’t need to burn your whole life down. But you do need to stop abandoning yourself in it.

Start small. Start honest. Start with one question:
“What if it’s not too late to become who I was always meant to be?”

Because it’s not.

That’s what Back to Me is here for. Not to tell you who to be — But to walk beside you while you remember.

You’re not starting over.
You’re starting in truth.

And that changes everything.
